Michael Huhn Bio
Born in Brooklyn New York and grew up in Richmond Hill queens .
Michael Huhn credits his colorful childhood as a inspiration to his chosen Fine art Photography career that specializing in portrait and male nudes utilizing shadow and light .
In a 2001 Genre magazine interview Huhn says I grew up in a stimulating environment my dad owned a bar and the patrons were some of the most eccentric characters
I always preferred to look at people and pictures for me the visual told a far more Interesting story
Michael released his self title book in 1992
MICHAEL HUHN PHOTOS editions Aubrey Walter London gaining him internationally acclaim and making him the youngest photographer in the world ,at the time o publish a male nude series in book form. The book success coincided with a one man show at the Leslie Lohman gallery in soho
Michaels entrance into the art world was one of extreme ambition along with talent and perseverance .In 1996 Huhn released his second book peepshow Janssen verlag Germany a controversial book for its time full color images of male fantasy which entertained the male erotic figure and sexual themes as bondage sadomasochism and sexual power. The book became an instant success and it followed by a 8 week one man show at the Leslie Lohman gallery.
In 1999 he relocated to los Angeles ,and expanded his portfolio photographing exclusive celebrity, photojournalistic style , event venues as well as private commissions for some of the most notable actors and politicians . His celebrity images are syndicated worldwide.
Peep show and Michael Huhn photos are housed in Private collections and some select Prestigious universities in Europe and America, integrating his art photography into higher learning and studies of human sexuality.
Limited edition prints and commission work remain in private collection and select images are part of the permant collection at the Leslie Lohman gallery.
Bassed in New York City. with studios in Los Angeles and Miami Huhn welcomes all other domestic markets as well as international Assighnments thruout the world

Private Commission
A Private commission means anything that is shot of you usually a portrait or nudes but not limited. I usually shoot up to 144 shots digital and b/w film keep in mind my work is very thought out and a private commission is usually shot over a course of 2 ½ days. The reason I work this way is to provide a basis of our mutual artistic collaboration , of course it can be done in one day per your request. All images become your property. The Images will never be published or exhibited unless in agreement. Your basically hiring me to utilize my artistic expression based on international recognition,
And published work. 1 signed print per request will be included in this type of service. A private commission is a priceless investment in your self and in photographic art of the twenty first century.

Michael Huhn fine art Limited Edition Prints are exquisite collector's items of the highest possible quality. This superb collection has been meticulously produced under Michaels close direction over the past 15 years.
Michael uses two printing processes for his Limited Edition Prints. His specialist black and white hand-printers, have created the silver gelatin prints using traditional darkroom techniques, and the archival digital inket prints have been produced by his print expert who he has worked closely with for 15 years. Every print is produced with beautiful tonal qualities, detail and creative interpretation using museum standard materials and processes to ensure their maximum archival stability.
